727,051. Golf-clubs. STEWART, K. Aug. 17, 1953 [July 11, 1952], No. 17489/52. Class 132(2). A putter comprises a head the centre of gravity of which lies vertically below the point of attachment to the shaft C and which comprises a striking face B of light material such as aluminium and a rear body A of heavy metal, the centre of gravity of the head and the major axis of the mass of the head lying in the plane described by the shaft when swung. According to the Provisional Specification, a sighting line may extend along the top of the head in the direction of flight of the ball.
