Abstract

722,726. Belt pulleys. TROJAN, Ltd., and WILLIAMS, A. Feb. 24, 1953 [March 4, 1952], No. 5682/52. Class 80 (1). A V-belt pulley comprises a rim of flexible material of a V-cross section which is bent round into a circle and secured to a wheel or disc 37. The V-strip forming the rim is perforated along its length with holes or notches 11 and has slits 18 extending from its edges between the holes 11. A flange 28 on one side beyond the V-groove is provided with holes for securing screws 30.
