Abstract

720,762. Equipment mounting arrangements. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Feb. 27, 1953, No. 5565/53. Class 40 (4). In a mounting arrangement for electronic circuit components, the components are mounted on a number of members 3 arranged side-by-side in close alignment and rotatable about a common pivot to a second position of side-by-side alignment, and a latch is provided to retain the members when they are all in the first position, all in the second position, or when some are in each position. The outer member 3 is pivoted by means of studs 1, 2 and bearing holes 4, 5 in the framework 8, and the other component-supporting members 9 pivot about the same studs through offset crank arms 10 and 12 so that components on either face of any member may be readily inspected. A latch 26, Fig. 2, serves to look the mounting members in either of the two positions by means of lugs 30, 31 which engage studs 21-23 attached to their respective plate members. The release position of the latch and the second position of the outer member are shown dotted. Movement of the outer member beyond the second position is limited by a stop 38.
