Abstract

715,309. Loom pickers. HARGREAVES, H. June 5, 1951 [June 22, 1950], No. 19099/53. Divided out of and Addition to 708,902. Class 142(2). A picker 17 according to the parent Specification is secured to the picking stick by a clip 18 comprising two parts secured together by a worm screw 20, the other ends of the two parts being provided with barbs 19 imbedded in the picker. In an alternative construction, the two parts lie along the sides of the picker and are secured thereto by a bolt or rivet passing through the picker and the two parts, the worm screw being replaced by a nut and bolt which draws the two parts together. The picker may be made of rubberized canvas, a synthetic resin such as polythene or polystyrene, glass fabric, leather, or rawhide.
