714,051. Control of A.C. motors. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Jan. 5, 1950, No. 338/50. Class 38(3) [Also in Group XXXV] A reversible two-phase motor is controlled by several A.C. signals applied in series to a thermionic amplifier the output of which feeds a magnetic amplifier coupled to the motor control winding. As shown, the control winding 8 of A.C. motor 6 is energized from magnetic amplifiers 172, 174, as described in Specification 611,226, [Group XXXV]. The magnetic amplifier is coupled to the output of thermionic amplifier 10, the A.C. input to which consists of signals developed at 145, 112, 25.
