Class 83 (4) In a wire coiling machine wire 27 is fed through a guide 7 to a pitch blade 9 and is coiled on a rotating mandrel 11 by an inclined rotary member 6 with conical recesses 6a, 6b with generatrices parallel to the mandrel. The mandrel is rotated by an electromotor and is geared to the member 6 which is rotated in a holder mounted on trunnions and urged towards the mandrel by a spring. The pitch blade is adjustable around the mandrel.
