Abstract

Joints between paving are sealed by applying wood tar pitch or a composition having the pitch as principal component. Specified compositions are wood tar pitch, a plasticizer, e.g. blown castor, linseed and fish oils, and rubber and mineral fibre, e.g. asbestos, singly or in admixture.
