Class 38(5) [Also in Group XL(c)] A control switch and indicator for a radio transmitter and loudspeaker receiver comprises a lamp 16 permanently connected to the receiver circuit for indicating when a call is being received and a push switch with projecting sliding rod 22 connected to earth at CO for short-circuiting or attenuating the loudspeaker when contacting contact C1 and on further depressing the push switch rod to meet contact C2, rendering the transmitter operative. The switch comprises two helical springs 17, 18 of different stiffness separated by a washer 19 so that only after the first has been fully depressed by the plunger 11 is the greater stiffness of the second spring encountered.
