Abstract

n-Amylsuccinic dihydrazide is prepared by reacting diethyl n-amylsuccinate in alcohol with hydrazine hydrate. Sodium sulphosuccinic dihydrazide is prepared by adding hydrazine hydrate to an alcohol solution of sodium dioctyl sulphosuccinate. Triphenylphosphonium chloride acethydrazide is prepared by refluxing together triphenylphosphine, ethyl chloracetate, and absolute alcohol, adding an absolute alcohol solution of hydrazine hydrate, and further refluxing.
