Abstract

1 - (p - Methylaminophenyl) - 3 - aminopyrazoline is prepared by refluxing 1-(p-N-methylacetaminophenyl) - 3 - aminopyrazoline with aqueous sodium hydroxide solution. 1-(p-Ethylaminophenyl) - 3 - aminopyrazoline, 1 - (p-aminophenyl) - 3 - aminopyrazoline, and 1 - (p - amino-m - methylphenyl) - 3 - aminopyrazoline are similarly prepared.
