Class 28(2) A peeler is provided with a doubleedged blade D which is removable for sharpening and is adjustable to or from the body A of the peeler to vary the thickness of the peel. The blade is adjusted as in Fig. 5 by rotating the tapered washer G by its projecting tongue into position to depress one or other edge to the amount required against a rubber washer I which allows adjustment without removal of the fixing screw F from the nut H. The tip of the blade is received at E which permits the adjustment.
