697,348. Ploughs. CRUIKSHANK & CO., Ltd., and SHANKS, T. Feb. 15, 1952 [Feb. 20., 1951], No. 4128/51. Class 6(i) Relates to ploughs of the type having a point formed on a bar which is fed forward as the point wears. According to the invention, the point-bar is in two parts, the forward part b carrying the point proper and the rear part a carrying holes c or notches enabling the insertion of a pin to determine various positions of adjustment. The two parts are either screwed together by a screwed part e, or spigotted together and the forward part b may be of harder material. When no further adjustment is possible, the part b may be replaced altogether.
