April 6, 1946, No. 10688 [Class 100(iii)) ] A spaceband comprises a member 6 in the form of a single wedge shaped leg having a closed slot 4, and a detachable shorter wedge shaped member 1 having a stud 2 engaging the slot 4. The stud 2 has an enlarged head 3 which engages a widened portion 5 of the slot 4, and the two members may be detached by sliding the member 1 until the enlarged head 3 engages an enlarged recess 7 and rotating the member 1 through 90 degrees.
