Abstract
695,539. Discharge apparatus. RESEARCH CORPORATION. Jan. 2, 1948 [Sept. 18, 1945], No. 29326/52. Divided out of 695,441. Drawings to Specification. Class 39(i) A beam of charged particles is produced in a discharge tube by connecting intermediate electrodes to the electrodes of a high-voltage generator whereby a longitudinal uniform electrostatic field is produced throughout the tube. The method of producing the beam is described with reference to the apparatus according to Specification 695,441.
