Class 136(i) A motor cycle has driving and rear-wheel sprockets mounted outside a wheel-supporting frame formed by sheet metal plates 3, 5, the plate 3 adjacent the rearwheel sprocket 9 forming the wall of a casing and co-operating with a cover plate 17. The sprocket 9 is driven by a crankshaft 11 of the engine through a primary chain 13 and a secondary chain 15.
