Abstract

693,010. Cable systems. SONNENFELD, I. (Representative of SONNENFELD, H.). June 26, 1951 [July 29, 1950], No. 18989/50. Class 36. A power cable comprising at least one insulated conductor is installed in a pipe line through which a cooling fluid is passed under pressure, the fluid contacting directly on the surface of the insulation or on a resilient sheath surrounding same, and means being provided for abstracting the heat from the cooling fluid. After leaving the pipe the heated fluid may be used for heating purposes in the manner described in Specification 612,482. It may also be used in a hot water or spaceheating system, or to feed boilers. Specifications 393,292 and 688,279 also are referred to.
