Abstract

An adhesive composition comprises rubber latex and phenyl thiocarbamide. The composition may be prepared by mixing 166 parts by weight of 60 per cent. latex, 5 parts of a 10 per cent. solution of a stabilizing soap, 29 parts of water and about 3 per cent. (based on the weight of rubber) of phenyl carbamide in the form of a 50 per cent. aqueous dispersion.
