691,189. Ladder brackets. ECLIPSE RAIL-TRACK LADDER CO., Ltd., and MAY. C. J. April 10, 1951 [April 11, 1950],. No. 8914/50. Class 20(ii) A tray 9 for workman's tools is carried by a bracket 3 having two hooks engaging adjacent rungs 2 of a ladder, a leaf spring 6 and pivots 7, 10 at right angles to provide a universal joint. When the bracket is mounted on the ladder and the tray is turned to horizontal position a roller 12 on an extension of the tray bears on the ladder stile, deflects the spring 6 and firmly grips the stile. An adjusting screw 13 allows the tray to be maintained in horizontal position.
