Abstract

The hoop is for use with an awning blind for shop fronts. It has arms (10) hinging on the horizontal longitudinal member (L5) at points as near as possible to the elbows (11) joining them together. There may be two hinges linked together, one at the end of each arm and the other at the end of an intermediate link between the arm end and the elbow. Each hinge can pivot through approximately 45 deg. unitl it comes up against a stop (16, 17). Bolts and nuts (19, 20) can be used as locking devices, securing the elbow, intermediate link (15) and arm together in the desired relative positions.
