690,999. Kinematograph projectors. INTERNATIONAL PROJECTOR CORPORATION. May 25, 1950 [June 25, 1949], No. 13152/50. Class 97 (i). A kinematograph projector has a lens 12 slidable in a barrel 13 for focusing under the control of a manually-adjustable knob 14 and clamped at 25 to a bracket 21 on the projector is a telescope 15. The objective lens 17 of the telescope has its axis parallel to the axis of the projection lens 12, and prisms in the telescope direct the light from the objective 17 into an eyepiece 23 so that an operator can view part of the screen image projected by lens 12. In use, the telescope is adjusted until the screen image is clearly defined and then lens 12 is adjusted until the screen image is correctly focused.
