Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for changing the curvature of the light emitting surface of a braun tube gainst the change of screen by providing an aberration correction lens used for the device of projecting images on a screen by way of a concave mirror, movably in the main beam axis direction.
CONSTITUTION: A concave mirror 9 and fluorescent screen 10 are fixed to a holding and fixing means 11. An aberration correction lens 8 is designed in the position suitable for the intermediate curvature of two kinds of screens 1, 2 is fixed to a moving means 12 and is movable on the main beam axis Z-Z'. If the position of the aberration correction lens 8 is determined at, e.g., A, with respect to the screen 1 of a front projection type television, the sharp images having no deviations are obtainable in the screen 1. For the screen 2 of back projection type, only required is to determine the position of the aberration correction lens at, e.g., B.
