690,819. Bulldozers. CLIFFORD, E., and LIEBRECHT, H. F. March 30, 1951 [March 31, 1950], No. 8152/50. Class 68(i) A pusher plate is detachably connected to the chassis frame of a tractor at an oblique angle to the direction of travel by a supporting bracket having at least two points of attachment to the chassis, one of the points being attachable to the front of the chassis and the other or one of the others to one longitudinal side of the tractor, a rigid connection between the said points, and a hinge connection between the pusher plate and the bracket. In the form shown the pusher plate a, which may be curved in section is supported by struts c which verge in pairs to hinge points d on the horizontal connecting portion f of the supporting bracket b. The bracket is attached by the arm h to the front of the tractor and by the arm g to the offside side frame, and the pusher plate is raised or lowered by a cable j and hand operated drum k. In the lowered position, part of the weight of the plate is taken by the hinge point d abutting on the underside of the horizontal portion f.
