Class 75(i) In a vapour burner comprising a vaporier tube 6, Fig. 2, disposed between the limbs 9, 10 of a U-shaped burner head 1 having main burner orifices 3 and inwardly directed auxiliary burner orifices 4 for heating the vaporizer tube 6, which may be partly surrounded by a heat-absorbing plate 7, a screening plate 12 is secured to the lower side of the head 1 and extends upwardly and inwardly towards the vaporizer tube 6 to screen partly the radiation from the auxiliary burner flames. The plate 12 may have a cooling flange 5. Specification 510,335 is referred to.
