Abstract

689,729. Bottle baskets for bottle washing machines. GRAHAM-ENOCK MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., ENOCK, A. G., and BRANCH, S. F. Sept. 26, 1950 [June 27, 1949]. No. 6189/52. Divided out of 689,685. Class 138 (i). A bottle basket 116 for a bottle washing plant, is provided with multiple stepped neck formations forming a series of seats for accommodating the necks of various types of bottles. Baskets 116 are disposed in a row, conveniently in two groups (part of one group is shown), and welded to side channels 126 at their body portions 116a. Fixing angles 127 are secured to end extensions of the channels 126 so that the groups can be fastened to the links of endless conveyer chains of the bottle washing machine. The groups of bottle baskets lie transverse to the chains. Each basket 116 is formed from sheet metal bent up to octagonal section and the walls are provided with openings 124. Short tapered portions 116c, 116e and 116g afford the stepped seats. The tapered portions are connected by portions 116d and 116f.
