Abstract

Bottles are supplied to the machine by a conveyor (1) which handles a double line of articles. The lines of bottles are divided by the central cone (14) which guides them into the slots around the rotating wheels (11). At this point the bottles in cross rows are transferred onto a second conveyor belt (12) which carries them forward so that they can be finally aligned by cross bars (18). The bottles are then grouped into double rows of three so that they may be packed into half dozens by a shrink wrapping member (6).
