688,431. Radar. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Dec. 7, 1951 [Jan. 15, 1951], No. 1076/51. Class 40 (vii). A range scale for a cathode-ray tube adapted to present either a normal P.P.I. display or a magnified off-centre display comprises a transparent disc 1 with two opposed sector-shaped portions 5 and 9 whose respective origins 3 and 8 are spaced apart on a diametric line, the origin 3 being located at the centre of the disc and each sector portion being graduated by arcuate and radial range and bearing lines 6, 7 and 10, 11 respectively. The disc 1 is rotatable within a rotatable annular ring 2 calibrated in degrees.
