An educational device comprises a disc 1 bearing radial markings representing units of longitude and illustrations of land masses of the world disposed in correct relationship to the longitude markings and a further disc 2 provided with a 360 degrees scale calibrated in units of time and centred at the centre of the first disc so that the time differential between different locations at different longitudes can be ascertained.
