686,737. Cycle frames. BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AKT.-GES. Oct. 30, 1951 [Oct. 1, 1948], No. 25400/51. Class 136 (iii). In a fork head for motor-cycle telescopic front forks comprising two fixed fork leg tubes interconnected by an upper and a lower transverse bracing member, the two fork legs 1, 2 are directly welded to both bracing members 3, 4. The steering stem 5 is rigidly connected to the bracing member 4 and is detachably connected to the member 3 by means of a sheet metal plate 6 which is bolted to the member 3. The ends of the member 4 are formed as bosses embracing the tubes 1, 2.
