Abstract

685,781. Walking sticks. CONCENTRIC MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. April 25, 1951 [April 26, 1950], No. 10237/50. Class 134. A walking stick of adjustable length comprises telescopic sections 1 and 2 of light alloy tubing, the outer section 2 having a handle 3 in the form of an elbow (shown in end section) secured thereto by a rivet 6 and provided with a covering in the form of a rubber sheath. The inner stick section 1 is provided with a rubber ferrule 4. A plug 10 mounted as a push fit in stick section 1 supports two spring loaded manually operable studs 9 which protrude through holes in the inner section 1 and engage an opposite pair of holes of two lines of holes 17 provided in the outer section 2.
