684,344. Brassieres. KEMP, V. F., and KEMPAT, Ltd. Aug. 23, 1951 [May 23, 1950], No. 12864/50. Class 141. A brassiÞre comprises two breast pockets 1, the outer margins of which are connected to underarm sections 3, the inner margins 2 being spaced apart and their lower zones 2b being connected to overlapping extensible members which are joined to the opposite underarm sections. The upper zones 2a of the inner margins are connected by independent extensible means e.g. elastic straps 5. The overlapping members may comprise tabs 6 connected by elastic straps 7 to the underarm sections 3. The tabs 6 may extend below the breast pockets in a wider type of brassiÞre.
