Abstract

683,827. Two-part couplings; plug boards. PLESSEY CO., Ltd., and ROE & CO., Ltd., A. V. Feb. 5, 1951 [March 23, 1950], No. 7291/50. Class 38 (i). A resilient, plastic terminal block has a series of bores 2, 3, each having pressed therein one triple-socket assembly 5 in which the sockets 8 are aligned with the bores 3 which have constrictions 4 to interlock behind the shoulders 11 of the ferrules 9 on the cable ends 10. An outer metal cover 12 having mounting feet 13 encases the body 1. The socket assembly 5 consists of two corrugated plates having intermediate flat portions 6 through which rivets 7 are pressed to form three double-V-shaped sockets 8.
