Class 75(i) A mantle ring is formed internally with integral resilient tongues g which engage with means, such as beading, on the lower end of a burner head or mixing tube to suspend the mantle in correct position. The ring has peripheral flanges c, d forming a channel in which the upper edge of the mantle is secured by cord. The tongues are formed by cutting slits in the ring and bending the material inwardly.
