677,613. Castors for bedsteads. WHITFIELDS BEDSTEADS, Ltd., and ADAMS, E. Oct. 27, 1950. loct. 27, 1949] No. 27612/49. Class 52 (i). A bedstead castor is braked against rotation about both horizontal and vertical axes by depression of a lever H pivoted in a fixed sleeve G and provided with a cam part L which forces a movable disc D, against a return spring E, on to a friction ring F mounted above a fixed disc C, the depression also causing a tongue N to engage the periphery of the wheel to effect the braking thereof.
