Class 135 [Also in Group XXVIII] A fluid-control valve assembly comprises a pair of inlet or discharge valves with their flow passages in series and each having a closure member, abutment element and a seating element placed against each other. The control valve assembly, e.g. for a pump or compressor k, comprises two or more valves, one above the other in the form of spring- loaded annular plates g, c, seating on seating elements a, e pressed by the bolt i against valve abutment elements b, f. The elements b, e may be integral. In one modification the assembly comprises concentric suction and delivery valves and in another the suction and delivery valves are in superimposed elements around a cylinder block.
