Abstract
Alloys for use in electric cables, resistances or thermocouples have the following composition: 30 per cent nickel, 70 per cent copper; 90 per cent nickel, 10 per cent chromium; 80 per cent nickel, 20 per cent chromium; 65 per cent nickel, 15 per cent chromium, 20 per cent iron; 76 per cent nickel, 15 per cent chromium, 9 per cent iron; 97 per cent nickel, 3 per cent manganese; 94.5 per cent nickel, 2.5 per cent manganese, 2 per cent aluminium, 1 per cent silicon.
