Abstract
673,767. Fibrous boards &c. OMAR, E. March 7, 1950 [March 12, 1949], No. 5724/50. Class 96. Bark, e.g.from spruce or pine, is divided into pieces smaller than 40 mms. and 2 to 50 per cent of straw pulp which has been digested with lime at not over 100 C. is mixed therewith, some of the waste lye and some wood pulp may be mixed therewith. Such pulp may be formed and dried in a mould. Porous heat or sound insulating slabs thus made may be coloured with a ferri-salt and may be coated with asphalt, plaster, or lacquer, &c., they may be reinforced with wood, metal, or textile material.
