This figure may be a bent sheet, plate or foil in one or more parts; or a rod bent to make a compound written sign. A rod or bar gives a sign in the form of a dot. The inside of the box may be reflecting or be painted glowing white; and its front face may rest against a glass window or a transparent plate. The translucent fluorescent material may be a coloured polymethacrylic acid ester. Specification 642,119 is referred to.
