Abstract

672,707. Drawing mechanism for spinning &c. machines. ESTIRAJES BALMES SOC. ANON. May 24, 1949 [June 8, 1948: Aug. 10, 1948], Nos. 13806/49 and 13807/49. Classes 120(i) and 120(ii) Roving condensers operating in the inlet angle of the final pair 1, 2 of rollers of a drawing mechanism are joined in pairs to prevent their displacement when the upper roller 2, of the pair is removed. The condensers 5 may be joined by a sheet metal bridge 6 which may be supported by roller supports 9, 10, 11, between two sets of rollers. The bridge may have extensions 8 for engaging two sets of supports 9, 10, 11, enabling the condensers 5 to serve one set of rollers. Alternatively, a pair. of condensers may be joined by a wire bridge.
