671,094. Rotary pumps. VANTON PUMP CORPORATION. March 30, 1950 [Aug. 17, 1949], No. 7973/50. Class 110(ii) The pump or compressor comprises an eccentric 84, on a driving shaft 74, which causes a flexible member 44 to bear progressively around the bore 26 of the casing 12 and transfer fluid from an inlet 40 to an outlet 42. The casing is preferably formed in one piece of hard rubber or like material, and the member 44 preferably of rubber. The latter has an extension 64 securely held in a slot 32 in the casing to act as an abutment between the ports 40, 42. Coupling rings 54, 56, preferably of aluminium, are positioned within end portions 48, 50 of the member 44,
