Class 82(i) In a method of soldering alloys consisting .essentially of Cr, or Cr and Fe, with Ni or Co or both, the solder used is a ternary alloy which, apart from impurities, has the following composition: Ag 36.0-98.0 per cent, Mn 1.0-20.0 per cent, Pd 1.0-50.0 per cent, the composition falling within the area bounded by the lines A-B-C-D-E in the drawing. A specific example contains Ag 75.0 per cent, Pd 20.0 per cent, Mn 5.0 per cent.
