[Also in Group VIII] Wrapping materials for the prevention of growth of mould on bread and other foods are made by impregnating or coating paper, cardboard, metal foil, plastic sheet or the like with a.medium containing paranitrobenzoic acid or an ester thereof. Examples are concerned with applying paraffin wax containing 5 per cent of ethyl paranitrobenzoate, a nitrocellulose or ethyl nitrocellulose lacquer containing 5 per cent of ethyl paranitrobenzoate, or an oil or water suspension of paraffin wax containing 5 per cent of ethyl paranitrobenzoate to the insides of paper or cardboard containers and to sheets of paper, aluminium foil, tin foil, cellulose acetate, or the like.
