667,248. Pipe joints. JARINGS, T. Jan. 2, 1950, No. 20/50. Class 99 (i). In jointing sewer pipes of the kind having a flat base 5, a cement, &c. ring 9 is cast around the pipes at the joint, each pipe end being provided at the base with a recess 4, so that the ring of cement, whilst continuous, does not project beyond the base, being confined by the plank 3 on which the pipes rest. A twopart hinged mould 6 having a pouring-hole 8 has its ends extending to the edges of the flat base.
