Abstract

667,244. Boats for cutting weeds. HOWARD & DENNIS, Ltd., and HOWARD, E. J. Dec. 7, 1950 [Dec. 15, 1949], No. 32171/49. Class 113 (ii). A shallow draft launch has a bow cutter 12 reciprocated by a cam on the shaft 5 which also reciprocates stern cutters 3 and is driven by the engine 16a. This engine also drives the propellers 6, 6a. Winches 19, 22 adjust the deptn of the cutters. The vessel is steered by inclining the propeller by the steering wheel 24.
