Abstract

667,088. Seats. ROBINS, H. Jan. 26, 1950. No. 2110/50. Class 52 (ii). [Also in Group XV] A child's seat comprises a tubular framework consisting of an upper frame and a lower frame spaced apart by tubes, the upper frame 3 being rectangular and the lower frame 4 comprising six or more sides, a seat being supported from the upper frame. The tubes 1 of the frames are detachably connected together by rods 2 which, at the lower part of the front, are of substantial length whereby the front of the framework is wider than that of the rear to ensure stability. A fabric seat 11 is suspended by resilient straps 13 from the upper frame 3, apertures 12 being provided in the seat to enable the child's feet to reach the ground in order to propel the device. The seat 11 may be detachable and provided with handles 14 whereby the child may be carried. The device is provided with castors or wheels 9.
