665,853. Ozone-generators. GREEN, A. Nov. 12, 1949 [Nov. 13, 1948], No. 29512/48. Class 39 (i). An ozone-generator for use in the apparatus disclosed in Specification 665,835, [Group VI]. comprises a number of square-shaped wire gauge electrodes 15 clamped against opposite sides of insulating sheets 14 by recessed insulating corner blocks 12 held together on metal rods 11 attached to the insulating end-plate 10. Strips 16 soldered to two diagonally-opposite rods 11 provide the connections to the respective sets of electrodes 15. Circular-shaped members 13 are formed integral with the blocks 12. According to the Provisional Specification the electrodes may comprise a continuous metal powder coating applied to an insulating gum, and the endplate may be of metal.
