6 - Nitro - 2 - amino - phenol - 4 - sulphonic acid is diazotized and coupled with <FORM:0661819/IV (c)/1> to give an azo dye which yields green-grey shades on wool by the metachrome process and olive-black by after-chroming. Specifications 145,057, [Class 2 (iii)], and 632,092 are referred to.
