661,454. Saucepan lids &c. BLANSHARD, E. I. Feb. 20, 1950 [Oct. 17, 1949], No. 26594/49. Class 66 A saucepan lid &c. has an opening 1 through which a spoon may be passed and which has out-turned edges 3 to receive inturned edges 5 of sliding shutter 4. In a modification, the opening is straight and in the middle of the lid, a single handle 2 secured to the shutter serving to move the shutter or,to lift the lid. Alternatively, the shutter may be below the lid surface.
