661,387. Shedding mechanism. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK, June 18, 1948 [June 23, 1947], No. 16431/48. Class 142(i). Heald shafts are suspended on pulleys 8, 16 set at an angle to the shafts so that the shafts are positioned nearer to the slay. The pulleys rotate on bushes 27 secured on axles 23, 24 and bored obliquely. The lower pulleys 14, 21 are in line with the heald shafts. A heald shaft lever 1 is secured to a draw rod 4 and a steel rope 7 connects the rod 4 and a slat 10 pinned to one of the shafts. A pin 29 engaging one of a series of holes at the top of the slat and a pin 33 engaging a slot near the centre of the slat secure the slat to the heald shaft. A draw. rod 12 hooks into one of a series of holes in the lower end of the slat. A turnbuckle 17 is provided for adjustment of the length of the steel rope. Discs 39, 39<SP>1</SP> prevent the pulleys from shifting along the axles 23, 24.
