Abstract

660,840. Hand trucks. TOMPSON, J. B. March 14, 1950. [Feb. 14, 1949] No. 3947/49. Class 108(i). A carriage for the transport of golf clubs and accessories comprises a light tubular or like frame 11 mounted on large diameter wheels 30 to stand normally substantially upright, the frame supporting at its lower end a platform 14 divided into a plurality of receptacles 15, each to receive the one end of a golf club, and supporting towards its upper end a series of spring clips 18 each to receive the shaft 19 of a club whereby the clubs are mounted individually on the carriage in spatial relationship. The wheels 30 are carried by a triangulated frame 12 which is removable from the frame 11 for stowage. A handle 21 is provided on the upper end 20 of the frame 11 to which it is hinged at 22. A removable canvas cover may be provided for the clubs and also canvas pockets for golf balls &c.
