Class 108(1) A golf-club carrier of the wheeled caddy type comprises a unitary holder body a for supporting a set of clubs, which is provided in the lower portion thereof at each of two opposite sides with a series of inwardly directed recesses, each adapted to accommodate the head of one of the irons of a set of clubs, the series d of recesses at one side being adapted to receive the heads of the long irons and the series f at the opposite side being disposed at a higher level and being adapted to receive the heads of the short irons, the said body having means to receive, locate, and retain the shafts of the said irons and also being furnished with a handle j and having combined therewith a set of wheels i. The bottom surface a<SP>5</SP> of the body is flat and the body is self supporting on the ground in a substantially upright position. Holes b and b<SP>1</SP> are formed near each of the four corners of the body and serve to receive the shafts and grips of the woods, and in the central position there is formed a comparatively deep pocket c to receive clothing, &c., the open end may be closable by a hinged lid or flap c<SP>1</SP>. The heads of the irons are accommodated in two horizontal series of downward inclined recesses d and f which are directed inwardly from the sides a<SP>1</SP> and a<SP>2</SP> of the body respectively, the angles of inclination corresponding approximately to those between the heads and the shafts of the various irons. Waterproof aprons or curtains k extend down from the top of the body over the grips of the irons, being held at their lower edges by stud or like fastenings, or the shafts may be individually covered using sliding clasp fasteners. Compartments may be provided for balls and other equipment or with clips designed to hold an umbrella and score cards.
